WoM: Realms

Rules

The following rules have been created to make a safe environment for everyone.
Please remember that children play Minecraft and use the WoM Servers.
The following rules apply both to WoM: Realms and WoM SMP - no excuses.

If you are caught abusing the following rules it will result in one of following four penalties:

Silence - Disables the ability to talk for the set amount of time.
Restriction - Disables the ability to build for the set amount of time.
Banned - Unable to join and play on WoM Servers for the set amount of time.
Permanent Ban - IP banned from WoM Servers and sites forever.

If you are penalized, do not fight the staff in regard to the penalty, you will only make it worse. Learn the lesson, deal with it and move on.

When you are in someone else's realm/area, please be polite and follow the owners instructions. If they ask you to leave, please do so without creating a scene. If you find a realm/area offensive DON'T publicly announce it, just type /home and leave immediately.
* Area = A section on SMP where user(s) are currently building.

Golden Rule: Use common sense!
Abusing others users includings staff, clans and players = zero tolerance:
- Bullying
- Cyber-Bullying.
- Insulting
- Trolling
- Flaming
- Racism
- Nazism - Hitler, Swastika and Jewish Hatred

Advertising:
- Do not excessively advertise your contest(s) or realm(s) or village(s)- rule of thumb once every 10 to 15 minutes.
  Otherwise chat gets too saturated and it becomes boring.
- Do not advertise other Minecraft servers. Classic or SMP.
- Refrain from advertising websites, blogs or videos, etc.

Chat - the following rules are forced in global and SMP. In your own realm/area please keep them in mind as guidelines:
- English only. Using another language to bypass any of the rules will result in a 7 day ban.
- Spam
- Gibberish\Jibberish
- Unnecessary and excessive caps are annoying. Do not use caps to advertise.
- Profanity* is not tolerated.
  *WoM Realms has a profanity filter. If you abuse or bypass, you will be automatically kicked. Continue to abuse or bypass the filter, you will be silenced.
Do not impersonate staff, users or <WM>. This will result in a permanent ban.
No discussions, buildings, tags or skins of an illegal or sexual nature, i.e Drugs, Rape, Torture, pedophilia (or paedophilia) , Torrents, Piracy, Pornography, Sexual acts, etc.
Discrimination of ones gender or sexual orientation (Gay\Lesbian) will result in a 24 hour ban.
Bots, NPCs and AI are banned. If you are looking for a feature that they have that WoM Realms doesn't please let us know and we will consider adding it.
Discussions of Religion are banned. It has the tendencies to cause major debates. Please keep your opinion to yourself.

Bypassing a silence or restriction can result in adding you to the permanent ban list.

Understandably, everyone makes mistakes and, if appropriate, you will be warned. However should you continue to dishonor these rules, you will face the consequences.

If another user warns you for breaking a rule, listen to them, they are doing you a favour.

Additonal WoM SMP Rules

Do not build within 500 blocks of spawn instead take a walk or ask to join a project.
Do not spam chickens or Snow Golems.
Do not use someone else's chest without permission. You will be banned without warning.
Do not destroy anything that is not yours without permission from the original builder.
Do not help people build or alter any builds without permission from the original builder.
Do not tower and just leave it. Remove it instead of just jumping off.
Do not place random blocks and leave them there.
Cut down trees completely instead of leaving random flying leaves and trunk/wood.
You may build in a town as long as the owner(s) of the town allow you too.
Respect people when they tell you to move away from where they are building.
Do not stand in the way of another user or place blocks to interrupt them.
If you want to build near someone ask them first, if they say no go build somewhere else.
Do not use SMP as a way to bypass the filter on WoM Realms, if you do so you will be banned.
Do not bother the staff to get you or your friends unbanned from WoM SMP as it is just an annoyance, you will be unbanned as we see fit.
Do not go to the FAR LANDS. You will be perma-banned on the WoM Network.

* Currently SMP only has Ban as a punishment. Which means, break the rules too many times and you are gone.

Who and What is <WM>?

The WoM Realm Master (<WM>) will assist you with most questions you may have that are related to WoM: Realms.
If you want a question answered don't go out of you way to get <WM> attention, just ask the question and wait patiently for the reply.

If you do not get a reply, <WM> is either distracted by another obligation, missed the message or the question is not related to WoM: Realms.
If <WM> doesn't reply and it is urgent please goto WoM IRC and talk to one of the staff members on the channel. For more information type /irc in-game.
If no one can help you on irc please create a support ticket and a staff member will get back to you as soon as they can.

If you get any instruction from <WM>, obey immediately, as <WM> doesn't like to repeat the instruction twice. Just remember penalties can result in a silence, restriction or a ban.

The staff (moujave, H4X, triddin, herobrine, deadlypixel69, Lunick and Shnaw) of 'WoM: Realms' reserve the right to modify or ignore these rules.
